Hi, I noticed you didn't have vital data on your pages. Just click on the edit link at the top of the page when you want to put in a birth date, a source or other information. You can even add photos and scans of documents, biographies and significant dates. Please leave me a message if you need help.  :)--sq 11:05, 12 May 2009 (EDT)

German location of your Seegers? [13 May 2009]

Kseegers,

Happened to see your message on solveig's talk page. And that you're researching SEEGER.

Do you know where (presumably in Germany?) your Seegers are from?

I have Seeger ancestors from Nagold, Schwarzwald and nearby towns.

With the help of web relate and this great link http://www.karensgen.com/index.php I was able to trace the Seegers to Mesmerode near Hanover. We are desendents of Johann Heinrich CHRISTOPH Seegers and Catharina Anna Maria SOPHIA Elizabeth Behrens. There is little information about Heinrich once he reached the United States and I hope to fill that in by doing research with my family.--Kseegers 13:07, 13 May 2009 (EDT)
