Hello and welcome to the WeRelate. Thanks so much for participating and contributing what you know to our virtual genealogical community. Together we can build a community website where we can learn from each other, work together and find what we need to make our research easier, more rewarding and fun. We need your input to make the website the best that it can be. What would be really helpful for you? What seems difficult? Anything you'd like to see?

I noticed you had a lot of red links :) So, I don't know if you care but here is some info FYI. Surname in Place pages are very useful collaboration pages, they work rather like message boards, only since they are wiki pages they can re organized and indexed at any time. See, Phillips in Texas, you can see that the area can be divided by county and family or individuals, like a message board but cooler.

I noticed you are using the standard town, county, state, country format. But, the problem is that WeRelate has a lot of wiki pages from non-genealogical sources. They just have never used this format. So, they don't understand that the comma at the beginning is for an unknown town, and they don't understand the USA at the end. So, if you would like to have automatic links to place and name pages you will need to follow this format:
Brady|Virginia
Anderson|Mercer, Kentucky
Thought you'd like to know :)

If you have any questions or comments please email me. Again thank you for participation.---sq 19:56, 11 October 2006 (MDT)
