Census sources [14 February 2016]

Hi there,

I'm one of the volunteer admins that reviews changes and sources. I noticed that you were using this source to link your source citations. (Thank you for your source citations!) Unfortunately, that's a relict of some sort of past import that has no content and shouldn't be cited (the source database remains a work in progress). There are specific source pages for each county and year, which we use because that amount of information is usually enough to get people to the record even if nothing else is cited, and because at that level discussions of the source itself (e.g., enumerators, transcriptions, and who lived there) make more sense than on the state or national level. Anyway, please discontinue use of this source, and change the cites when you edit older pages. Over time, we'll need to change all the existing links, as they'll turn red when the underlying source is deleted. Thanks, and sorry we didn't catch it earlier!--Amelia 05:34, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

This deletion has been been to speedy, over 6 months, you still have 40 links to it so I will update some as Amelia suggested abd delete the source page. Rhian 09:16, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
