I guess we are just splitting hairs unnecessarily. What I had was correct and didn't need changing so I was surprised when you did make a change but what you have now is also correct. Personally, I don't see a need to have both a will and probate listed as separate events for this person.

Well, Help:Before you import your GEDCOM#General Maintenance specifically says, "Be sure that dates of wills and probates are labeled as such and not presented as the actual death date", so I thought that was how it was done here. The Identity of the Wife of John Morse of Dedham [5 January 2012]

In 1946, G. Andrews Moriarty contributed a Morse-Chickering Correction, (NEHGR 100:79) to his earlier article (NEHGR 83:290) in which he had stated that John Morse married Annas sister of Francis Chickering. In this correction, he concludes as follows: "The account of the English ancestry of the Chickerings (NEHGR 69, 226-229) and the will of Henry Chickering (Francis' father) … fails to disclose a sister of Francis Chickering named Annas. Francis did have a sister, name unknown, who was married to one Nicholas Wolnough, when their father Henry made his will. It is, of course, possible that her name was Annas and that she married secondly John Morse but this seems a rather remote possibility and the chances are greatly in favor of some other combination to make John Morse call Francis Chickering "my brother". Their wives may have been sisters or again they may have been merely "brothers" in the church. At any rate the evidence was not sufficient to justify Miss Leavitt in stating without qualification that Annas, wife of John Morse, was sister of Francis Chickering."

Robert Charles Anderson provides a brief summary of Wright's career in New England in The Great Migration Begins 3:2072-74. He refers to three prior treatments: (1) Walter Goodwin Davis in Joseph Neal Ancestry 97-101, reprinted in the compilation Massachusetts and Maine Families in the Ancestry of Walter Goodwin Davis 3:656-60]; (2) Richard LeBaron Bowen in Early Rehoboth 1:113-30; and Gale Ion Harris in a 1992 article in The American Genealogist, 67:32-46. Anderson concludes his sketch, "For the full career of Richard Wright, and especially for the arguments about the identities of his children and their spouses, the article by Harris should be consulted. WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded Schwartz.ged, your next step is to review what your pages will look like, review any potential warnings, and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. You need to review your GEDCOM before it can finish importing. We will keep your GEDCOM in the queue for two weeks to give you time to review it.

Note: if your gedcom contains many errors or multiple families, we’d ask that you resolve and correct the errors, delete this gedcom and re-submit it without the errors before merging it with families already on WeRelate. If the gedcom is very large, we’d suggest breaking it up into separate files (or families) and importing them one at a time, which makes the review and correction process easier.
