Robert Parke & Martha Chaplin - Merge ? [5 January 2009]

Hello Claudiakerr,

This couple is listed on my merge list. I looked and there are only three of us, you, Waterart, and myself that are active on Werelate this year, though this couple seem to have about five Werelate users listing this couple. There is a wide variation on the information on this couple between the five of us. Would you like to merge this couple?--DFree 14:15, 5 January 2009 (EST)

Ref Wrong info on Stephen Ford, born 1765 [28 April 2012]

My name is Patricia Beavers Ford. I am married to James Ford, who is a descendant of Stephen Ford, born 1731 to Thomas and Leah Price Ford. You have Stephen who married Ruth Stevenson as having a child named Leah. This is incorrect. see list below I have the family info for this branch of the Ford clan in front of me. This family history was complied in 1965 for my husband grandfather Wilbur Ford. Stephen and Ruth left Baltimore and moved to Ohio, (Jefferson County) Stephen had cousins and some of his brothers that moved to Tennessee. Spme of the Ford clan also left Baltimore and moved to South Carolina, and then on TN. Among famous branch cousin to Stephen is the person known as RIP FORD John Salmon Ford, Texas Ranger and Statesman.

children of Stephen and Ruth are as follows:

Nancy b 10/1791 married James Foster Henry b June 1793 married Nancy Hale Nicholas b Mar 1795 married Aphia Moore Thomas b Nov 1796 married Elizabeth Hall Letitia b Feb 1799 married Rev J Minor Mary b Feb 1801, married Molachi Jolly Sarah b Mar 1803 married James Hobson Joshua b Apr 4 1805 married Elizabeth Hammond Aletha b Aug 1807 Mmarried Samuel Hall Kiturah b Jan 1811 married James Ball Stephen b Apr 1813 never married John B Apr 1815 married Elizabeth Riley William B May 1817 married Elizabeth Frederick Please correct your records. Abel Smith and Olive Kellog [13 September 2012]

Dear Claudia, If you are related to this family, I guess we are cousins. I am also a descendant, through their son William Orville. I appreciate this information being posted, but I don't see any sources for it. Could you please tell me where you found the names and dates of this family?

Thank you,

John Fitzgerald b. 1827 [9 January 2013]

Hellooooo ! My name is Greg Henderson and I'm new to WeRelate.

Saw a post ya made concernin' John Fitzgerald b. abt. 1827 Monroe Co,KY. Father Aiken FGerald. Per your post he had a son John (Aiken)FGerald b.abt. 1840(or so) Monroe CO,KY md. Eliz. P. Turner. This John was my gg-grandpa. This John is as far we can co back for sure. Although in the 1850 Monroe CO census there's a John FGerald 8yr old in the house of Aiken FGerald. We highly suspect that this is him but no solid proof. He's listed after the older kids so we think that he's possibly not one of Aiken's kids but some sort of relative anyway. Now...you stated that his father was John (Henderson ?) FGerald (one of Aiken's kids). Possible but all I can find on him is he md. to a Nancy Thomas Greenup 1854. Too late for her to be my John's mother. There's possibility that this John was married before her or......... he has a child was never md. befoe Nancy Thomas Geenup??????? What says you ??
Also I have a book by Robert Nave "The George Fitzgerald Family". Of course Aiken was George's son.
Also have a photo of John Aikin FGerald and wife Sarah E. P. Turner if yur interested.
And,where did ya find that John H. FGerald was John Aiken's father????

Thanks! Greg Henderson...Louisville,KY dirt2@insightbb.com--Himbo 13:29, 9 January 2013 (EST)
