Hello and welcome to the WeRelate. Thanks so much for participating and contributing what you know to our virtual genealogical community. Together we can build a community website where we can learn from each other, work together and find what we need to make our research easier, more rewarding and fun. We need your input to make the website the best that it can be. What would be really helpful for you? What seems difficult? We will be automating GEDCOM uploads in the next few months. They will automatically generate person Person:Ella Grey (1) and family Family:Daniel Phillips & Ella Grey (1) wiki pages. Anything you'd like to see?

FYI-- I don't know if you care, but the system will automatically link your surname and place page to the relevant surname page Surname:Kulig and to the relevant place pages Place:Konské, Slovakia & Place:Konská, Slovakia if you enter them like this on your home page.

Kulig|Konske, Slovakia
Kulig|Konska, Slovakia
(You will need a separate page for each location because the system indexes each place separately. Each page title needs to be on a separate line.)
or you may want to just have one page for

Kulig|Slovakia

You can just copy and paste which ever one of these you like.

Anyway the system is case sensitive. The software we use came that way and changing it is on our todo list. But for now the index thinks KULIG is a different name from Kulig, and "Konske or Konska" is just one place. You can see Phillips in Texas to see how to use headers to divide the Kuligs in Konske from the Kuligs in Konska. Anyway I just thought you'd like to know why you have red links when there are pages for your name and places. If you click on a red link it will take you to a blank page where you select edit and can create the new article. If you click on blue links you will go to the article and you can then select the edit key to add information or edit.

If you have any questions or comments please email me. Again thank you for participation.---sq 11:43, 9 October 2006 (MDT)
