Hi, My name is Julie. I started researching my family over 20 yrs. ago with my father side of the family. It has been a very slow painful process for me and I had hit a lot of brickwalls. I gave up and then, I started researching my mothers side of the family in 2011. I started with 10 family group sheets that my uncle and aunt handed to me over 10 years ago. I wasn't expecting much from it. As I started going through the names and researching them out, the names started to come alive for me. It has been a wonderful adventure for me. I can barely keep up with it ( need to get other help me out, can't do it alone), there is so much information I have been finding. I have been learning so much history. I have been stuck in the 1800s for almost a year now and love it. I am hoping that by putting up what I have been able to find, will help others and to let the future generations know who their family is and how they came about to be.
