I was adopted as a baby but have come to know my biological family and that geneaology is where most of my research is focused. My biological father's mother died in childbirth so he and his siblings where split up at very young ages to various family members, so he was unaware of his own history for much of his life. As a result, my biological siblings are also researching our father's geneaology and we are discoving everything together. Everything thus far has been added to ancestry.com under Daniels-Mack family tree. I of course am also interested in my biological mother's side of the family, but much more is already known on that side.

While I am interested in the people, dates, etc. I am really interested in the oral histories and hope to discover more of that type of information along with filling in holes. My biological father was under the impression he had some Cree in him, but we have been unable to confirm. There are several holes and I am also very interested in filling in those holes. The greatest mystery is a Clifford H. Wiltsie who was apparently born in Ontario and came to the US (Iowa) in 1880 and was married to Arvilla Briggs. Their daughter (Lena Sarah Wiltsie) married my great great grandfather Edwin Merl Mack. After somewhat extensive research, I am unable to find any information on Clifford Wiltsie and I believe it is possible this was not his real name. Any leads here are greatly appreciated as is finding additional information on the others.
