I am Steven McCord and I am looking to expand my knowledge of recent and distant pasts of our family. I have a few specific goals right now: Determine whether or not I am a Son of the American Revolution, and trace the following ancestors back to previous countries: McCord, Welsheimer/Welzsheimer, Walinksi, Schmidt and Schwartz. (Whew!)
I would also like to identify any Coats of Arms, occupations, etc. of those families.
I just decided to do this, so I have virtually no experience at genealogy, but I'm a fast learner and hope to become proficient soon.
