Hello
My name is Sandra Reustle Recker and I've been researching my Reustle family for over 20 years. Since I retired five years ago, I've been able to research more diligently.
I have been able to trace the Reustle family tree back to the immigrant ancester, Johann David Reustle. I have learned that JD Reustle had three wives (no, not at the same time); had four children that died young, adopted two children born to his third wife and had a total of 9 children of his own that all lived to adulthood.
Tracing all these children has led me to many cousins across the United States who are also tracing the Reustle surname. All have contributed something and all are delightful to know.
I am currently compiling information on the Reustle family so that I can publish a Reustle Family book. If you have photos or information regarding any of the persons found here or information on family yet unknown to me, please contact me via this website.
