LulaBelle is a name that my grandfather called me when I was a child. At the time, no one else could get away with calling me that; only my Papa.
Hardly anyone even tries to call me LulaBelle any more. Even though nowadays, it doesn't seem to bother me at all.
Much of my family history research over the past few years has focused on trying to solve some of the mysteries of Papa, other grandparents, and their origins. So it just seems fitting to use that name here.
Of course, once you start, you just can't quit. So I now search for other family lines for myself and my husband. He searches too. And makes the neatest video presentations for his legion of cousins.
