My name is Mary McCallie Thacker. I live in north Alabama. The McCallie genealogy research has been ongoing for many years and I doubt seriously that I can add much to it. I am a novice genealogist.
However, there are certain people in the McCallie line that there is little to no info on. This has come to light recently as I was helping a McCallie gentleman to research his branch of the McCallie family. Without casting asperations, I will also say that some individuals do not seem to care if the information they use or provide is correct or not. I do recognize the difficultlies that our McCallie ancestors have caused in our modern research due to the fact the McCallie family uses the same names over and over again.
My effort here is to record my own McCallie lineage. There is very little research needed on my part as it was done by other McCallie's over the past decades. For them and their efforts, I thank you.
