Hi, I've been researching my ancestry since October of 2006. I'm a direct Mayflower descendant of John Alden (Mayflower Campact signer), Priscilla Mullins, and Francis Eaton (Mayflower Compact signer); tenth Great Grandparents. Priscilla's father; eleventh Great Grandfather, William Mullins was a Mayflower Compact signer as well. I'm also a first cousin six times removed of Millard Fillmore; thirteenth United States President. Millard's mother was Phoebe Millard, my fifth Great Grand Aunt; sister of my fifth Great Grandmother, Sarah Millard, who was the wife of my fifth Great Grandfather Jabez Eaton II; who's Grandfather, Francis Eaton; third generation, was the Great Grandson of Francis Eaton of the Mayflower Compact. Furthermore, I'm a cousin to a variety of different generations of famous individuals through John and Priscilla, as well; Second United States President, John Adams II; third cousin eight times removed, sixth United States President (Second child and first son of John Adams II), John Quincy Adams; fourth cousin seven times removed, American nineteenth century poets, William Cullen Bryant and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow; fifth cousins six times removed. American twentieth century film and radio broadcast director Orson Welles, and American twentieth century model and actress Norma Jean Mortensen Baker (AKA. Marilyn Monroe) are Ninth cousins twice removed. Forty Fourth United States Vice President (First Bush Administration) Dan Quayle, as well as, American twentieth century actors and brothers, Dick Van Dyke, and Jerry Van Dyke; are all tenth cousins once removed. Through Francis Eaton, American twentieth and twentieth-first century actor Richard Gere is a half tenth cousin once removed. Richard is the ninth Great Grandson of Francis Eaton of the Mayflower Compact and his first wife Sarah (Unknown maiden name). Francis Eaton's third wife Christian[n] Penn was my tenth Great Grandmother. Christian[n] Penn remarried to Francis Billington; son of John Billington (Mayflower Compact signer and Plymouth Colony convict) after Francis Eaton's death in 1633. From them, the twentieth United States President; James Abram Garfield descends; who is my half sixth cousin five times removed.
