Karen Packard Rhodes is a genealogical speaker and writer operating out of northeast Florida. She is the author of Non-Federal Censuses of Florida 1784-1945: A Guide to Sources (McFarland 2010). Currently she is enrolled as a post-baccalaureate student at the University of North Florida with a double major in History and Spanish. Her specialty area is colonial Florida history and the colonial lineages of Florida. She participated in the 2011 Honors Seminar, presenting a program on the cosmopolitan nature of the population of St. Augustine, Florida, in the Second Spanish Period (1784-1821).
