The family connections I am interested in are those of William Runciman born c 1729 in Whitekirk, East Lothian, Scotland. His line is Line 1b of the DNA project which can be viewed at

which includes more information and comment on the Runciman family, now spread throughout the world - particulary Scotland, England, Canada, Australia & New Zealand.

Only a few Runciman lines exist throughout the world, the majority tracing back to Scotland. So the chances of relationship with any other Runciman is in fact fairly high. I'd love to hear from anyone in my 'Crail' line or any of the other Runciman lines, whether known to be related by results from the DNA project or not, to advance our common family knowledge.
