The evidence (or argument) is likely found in a source contained in Torrey's bibliography. I don't have access to the bibliography - only the book of New England Marriages before 1700, which gives Joseph's second wife's name as Mercy Deming (p. 843). --DataAnalyst 22:39, 9 March 2012 (EST)
