Watchers

Defect 1 [5 April 2014]

The marriage record gives her name as Eamie, and subsequent records give a variation of Amy. Some sources show Emma, but Eunice appears to be Savage' unique interpretation.--Jrich 14:16, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Defect 2 [5 April 2014]

Savage relied on Deane (History of Scituate by Samuel Deane) which is chock full of errors, which Savage inherited to his detriment, including this one. Elizabeth Simmons is named as the wife of Richard Dwelly in her father's will dated 1689, after Richard Jr. m. 1682 Amy Glass. Amy (Glass) Dwelley lived to 1747/48, so Richard Jr. never had a second wife, and all the children are by his only wife Amy. Elizabeth Simmons married Richard Sr. who died shortly after in 1692. Elizabeth (Simmons) Dwelly's will names no children, only brothers and sisters and various Simmons relations. --Jrich 14:22, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
