Jonathan Avery probably died before Oct 1690 based on a reference in a letter written by Michael Wigglesworth to his widow, which was dated 11 Feb 1690[/91] (NEHGR, 17:139). In any event, the will of "Jona. Avery Practitioner in Physic & aged about thirty-five" was proved 27 May 1691 (NEHGR 45:168). If the death date of 14 Sep 1694 found in Dedham refers to this man, then the record was misrecorded, or it may belong to another man? --Jrich 00:45, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
