Ruth is not the daughter of Stephen Iggleden, whose widow Elizabeth settled in Roxbury and married Joseph Patchin. Court documents (see NEHGR, Vol. 59, p. 417, show Samuel Blodgett's mother in law is Jane, widow of Isaac Cole, not Elizabeth, hence the Ruth he married was from a different family. --Jrich 14:50, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
