    RAM, GEORGE, came in the Abigail, from London, 1635, aged 25;
but nothing more is kn. of him. In Geneal. Reg. XIV. 318, Mr. Drake
is positive that this name in the custom-ho. rec. is Rum. How much his
eyesight was better than mine, in copying the same page for 3 Hist. Coll.
VIII. 267, I may be satisf. when next visit. London; but until then, as
keep. of her majesty's rec. in his many correct. of my text in same ser.
of Hist. ColI. X. 130, did not include this error, let it pass. Rum or
Ram is unkn.

    RAMACKE, CHRISTIAN, Kittery, of the gr. jury 1659.

    RAMSDELL or RAMSDEN, AQUILA, Lynn, s. of John, freem. 1691,
had Nathaniel, b. 16 Sept. 1673; Aquila, last of Jan. 1676; John, 25 Mar. 1678;
Jonathan, 23 Aug. 1679, d. next mo.; Hannah, 26 Sept. 1680; Jonathan, again,
d. under 3 yrs. Samuel, 26 Oct. 1684; and Jonathan, again, 25 Feb. 1686.
ISAAC, Lynn, prob. br. of the preced. m. 12 July 1666, Eleanor, eldest
d. of John Vinton, had Dorcas and John, wh. both d. young; Nathaniel,
b. last of May 1677; John, again, 29 Mar. 1680; Joseph, 17 Sept.
1683; Sarah, 8 May 1685; and Eleanor; 8 Apr. 1688. JOHN, Lynn
1630, or at least a very early sett. had John and Aquila, and d. says
Lewis, 27 Oct. 1688, aged 86, whose w. Priscilla, he adds, had d. 23
Jan. 1676. His d. Elizabeth I judge, bec. w. 12 Aug. 1674 of John Shaw
of Malden, and the s. prob. the youngest, Jonathan, b. 31 Mar. 1657, d.
next yr. JOHN, Boxford 1673, perhaps s. of the preced. m. 31 May
1671, Elizabeth d. of Rev. William Perkins of Topsfield.

    RAMSDEN, DANIEL, Plymouth 1665. JOHN, Newton, L. I. 1663,
selectman 1664, and same yr. made freem. of Conn. of whose jurisdict.
he was strenuos support. and liv. in 1686 to be nam. in the patent
from Gov. Dongan. See Riker. JOSEPH, Plymouth, m. 1646, Rachel,
d. of Francis Eaton, had Daniel, b. 14 Sept. 1649. He m. again, 16
Oct. 1661, Mary Savory.

    RAMSEY, JOHN, one of Moseley's comp. Dec. 1675, but where he liv.
or when he d. is not kn.

    RANCE, JOHN, Scituate, a quaker, wh. assist. in erect. meet ho. was
whipp. for ardent lang. 1677, and rem. to Barbadoes. Yet he had serv.
in Philip's war. His wid. was at S. in 1697. Deane, 51.

    RAND, FRANCIS, Portsmouth 1631, sent over by John Mason, and
