    QUINCY, DANIEL, Boston, goldsmith, eldest s. of Edmund the sec.
ar. co. 1675, m. 9 Nov. 1682, Ann or Hannah, d. of Rev. Thomas Shepard
of Charlestown, had Ann, b. 1 June 1685; and John, 21 July
1689, H. C. 1708; and d. 10 Aug. of the yr. foll. his will of 4 Apr.
1690, being pro. 18 Sept. aft. His wid. m. 7 Jan. 1701, Rev. Moses
Fiske as his sec. w and d. 24 July 1708. His d. Ann m. John HoIman,
wh. may have been the gr. of H. C. 1700; and his only s. was
speaker of the ho. of Reps. 1729-39, many yrs. of his majesty's council,
and d. 13 July 1767. EDMUND, Boston, arr. 4 Sept. 1633 with John
Cotton; making it prob. that he came from the same Co. in Lincoln, tho.
really he was of Wigsthorpe Co. Northampton, s. of Edmund, and bapt.
30 May 1602, and was, with w. Judith m. 14 July 1623, adm. of the ch.
in Nov. 1633, within four mos. five of his serv. joined it; freem. 4
Mar. 1634, and rep. at the first Gen. Ct. of Mass. 14 May in that yr.
rec. gr. of ld. in Braintree, 1635, still enj. by his descend. and d. soon
aft. in his 33rd. yr. His wid. m. Moses Paine, wh. d. 1643, and in few
yrs. she m. Robert Hull, and d. 29 Nov. 1654, as in his Diary is told by
John Hull, the mintnaster, wh. m. 11 May 1647 his d. Judith, b. in Eng.
3 Sept. 1626. EDMUND, Braintree, only s. of the preced. b. in Eng. a.
1628, bapt. 15 Mar. of that yr. m. 26 July 1648, Joanna, d. of wid. Joanna
