Apr. 1654, provid. that Peter P. should perform its conditions "in
case I make him my husband." SAMUEL, Taunton, m. 25 Mar. 1680,
Sarah Bobbett, d. of Edward of the same. WILLIAM, Hingham, came
in the Diligent. 1638, from Old Hingham, maybe the man of wh.
Winthrop II. 305 tells, and may have been at Marblehead, 1654, but 7
Dec. of next yr. m. Susanna, wid. of Philip Alley, was a trader, and
prob. liv. at Boston; but his w. Susanna d. at M. on a visit 28 Sept.
1668. See Essex Inst. Coll. II. 69.

    PITTUMS or PITTOMS, JOHN, Boston, by w. Mary had Nathaniel, b.
8 July 1678; Mary, 18 May 1680, bapt. 26 June 1681; and Elizabeth whose b. is
not seen, but bapt. 22 Nov. 1685.

    PIXLEY, EBENEZER, Westfield, s. of William of the same, m. 1711,
Mary Strong, prob. d. of Jedediah, had only Elijah, b. 1714; and d.
1716. JOSEPH, Westfield, s. of William, m. 23 Aug. 1699, Abigail, one
of the nine ds. of John Clark of Farmington, had Jonah, b. 3 Mar.
1701; Joseph, 4 Mar. 1703; Abigail, 29 May 1705; Moses, 9 June
1707; John, 22 Oct. 1709; Jonathan, 17 Jan. 1712; David, 21 Mar.
1714; and Clark, 3 Oct. 1724; rem. to Sheffield. THOMAS, Westfield,
br. of the preced. m. 1699, Lydia Dibble, d. of Abraham had Sarah, b.
1699; Noah, 1706; and d. 1731. WILLIAM, Hadley, m. 24 Nov. 1663,
Sarah Lawrence, had Sarah, b. 11 Jan. 1665; Thomas, 6 June 1667;
rem. to Northampton, there had William, 27 June 1669; Joseph, 18
Nov. 1671, d. young; Joseph, again, 9 Mar. 1676; Ebenezer, 13 May
1678; rem. to Westfield, there had Anthony, 4 July 1681, wh. d. 25
Apr. 1697; beside Mary, wh. d. 1735, at Westfield, unm. the date of
whose b. is not kn. and he d. 9 Oct. 1689; and his wid. d. 25 Nov.
1713. Sarah m. 9 Dec. 1680, John Lee. Thomas, and Ebenezer, as
well as Joseph, bef. ment. had ch. in W. but their names have not been
learned. The name is still found.

    PLACE, sometimes PLAISE, ENOUCH, Kingstown, R. I. from whose
will, May 1695, I learn that he was 64 yrs. old, and had w. Sarah, m.
Nov. 1657, at Dorchester, as in Geneal. Rec. XI. 332 is seen, without
her surname, and ch. Enouch, Peter, Thomas, and Joseph, the youngest,
beside Sarah, w. of * * * Cook. The same Dorchester rec. ment. that
Dinah P. d. 28 July of that yr. PETER, Boston, came in the Truelove,
1635, from London, aged 20, freem. 1646, by w. Alice had Hannah, b.
20 Jan. bapt. 19 Mar. 1643; Elizabeth 29 Sept. bapt. 6 Oct. 1644; Joseph,
b. 19 Oct. 1646; Peter, bapt. 17 June 1649, a 3 days old; Elizabeth again,
21 Oct. 1652, wh. d. young.; Sarah, 3 Sept. 1657. PETER, Providence,
perhaps s. of the preced. sw. alleg. to Charles II. May 1682. THOMAS,
