17; Abigail, 1 Mar. 1689; Benjamin, 12 Aug. 1690, Sarah, 10 Dec.
1691; Jedediah, Apr. 1694; Mehitable, 18 May 1695; Jonathan, 14 or
25 Dec. 1669; David, 18 Jan. 1702; Oliver, 14 Aug. 1704, d. at 16
yrs.; and Bartholomew; yet all but the last two were b. at Rowley.
He d. 16 June 1731, and his wid. foll. him within ten weeks. GEORGE,

and his wid. d. 25 Apr. 1752, aged 88 yrs. JOHN, Lynn 1637,had Mary,
b. 20 June 1643; Bethia, 15 Sept. 1645; Sarah, 20 Jan. 1648; rem. to
Reading, had John, 22 June 1650; and James, 2 Nov. 1652. He d. 17
Apr. 1679, aged a. 64. His will of that mo. ment. w. Maudlin, s. John,
ds. Mary Burnap, Bethia Carter, and Sarah Townsend. Mary m. 3
Dec. 1663. Thomas Burnap; Bethia m. a Carter; and Sarah prob. m.
27 Jan. 1669, John Townsend. * JOHN, Rowley 1643, then set up the
earliest fulling mill in America, by w. Dorcas, had Mary, b. 21 May
1643, d. young; John, 27 Dec. 1644; Elizabeth 14 Feb. 1652; Jeremiah,
21 Oct. 1653; Sarah, 3 May 1655, d. in few mos.; Joseph, 21
Oct. 1656, wh. was of Lothrop's comp. and fell in bat. 25 Aug. 1725,
near Hatfield; Benjamin, 1 Apr. 1658; Phebe, 13 Apr. 1660; Stephen,
1663; and Sarah, May 1666, d. in few mos. prob. was the freem. of
1647, rep. 1678 and sev. yrs. later, espec. after overthrow of Andros and
the anxious ones bef. his com. deac. 24 Oct. 1686, and d. 22 Dec. 1693.
His wid. d. 12 Jan. 1703. In the Col. rec. the name of the rep. is more
common, giv. Peirson, but the descent, have spell. with a. Mary m. 20
Dec. 1671, Samuel Palmer; Eliz, m. 8 June 1676, John Hopkinson;
and Phebe m. 24 Aug. 1682, Timothy Harris. JOHN, Rowley, s. of the
preced. m. 14 Feb. 1671, Mary, d. of John Pickard, had Sarah, b. Apr.
1672; John, 1 dec. 1674; Joseph, 22 Oct. 1677; Dorcas, 18 Mar.
1680; Jane, 21 Aug. 1684; Hepzibah, 7 Apr. 1689; and Rebecca, 16
Mar. 1693. He d. 19 Mar. 1723, and his wid. d. 13 Apr. 1728.
