had Rebecca, b. 18 Mar. 1650; Peter, 27 July 1653; Mary, 28 Oct. 1655,
d. soon; Mary, again, 28 Nov. 1656; Thomas, 15 Apr. 1659; Daniel,
25 Nov. 1661; the last three bapt. 12 July 1663, not 11 (wh. was
Saturday), as the eminent. untrustworthy ch. rec. tells; John, 10 May
1664, bapt. I suppose, next Sunday, not Tuesday 17, by the wretch.
rec.; Joseph, b. 1666; Benjamin, 4 Jan. 1669; Samuel, 10 Mar. 1673;

27 May 1678, Elizabeth eldest d. of James Trowbridge, had Peter, b. Apr.
1679, d. young; Caleb, 3 Nov. 1681; Peter, again, Aug. 1684, d.
young; Elizabeth 27 Apr. 1687; Judith, 2 Sept. 1689; Benjamin, 3 Apr.
1692; Stephen, 12 Oct. 1694; Ebenezer, 29 Nov. 1696; Zechariah, 2
May 1699; Abigail, 5 Aug. 1701; Zipporah, 15 Dec. 1705; and
Peter, again, 1 Mar. 1708. THOMAS, New Haven, br. of the preced.
m. 26 Mar. 1684, Mary Umberfield, had Thomas, b. 1 Jan. 1685, wh. d.
21 July 1783, of course 98 yrs. 6 mos. and 9 days old, magnif. up to
" one hundred and one yrs." in Cothren; and Daniel, 2 Jan. 1687; beside
Aaron, 10 Mar. 1690; was a propr. as also were his f. and brs. Peter,
Daniel, and John in 1685; but he d. 15 Feb. 1691. Oft. the sec. syl.
has e, sometimes a.

    MALONE or MALOON, HENDRICK, Dover 1660. LUKE, Dover
1670, m. 20 Nov. 1677, Hannah Clifford, perhaps d. of John, first of the
same, had Sarah, b. 1679; Joseph; Samuel; Luke; Elizabeth; and Nathaniel;
but dates are not seen, and order of b. is unkn.

    MALTBY, JOHN, New Haven, m. Mary, d. of Richard Bryan of Milford,
had John, b. 6 June 1673; and Mary, was lost at sea, as in 1676 was conclud.
and 10 June of that yr. his inv. of only £58. was brot. in; yet he has the
prefix of respect, and he was prob. a valua. man. Mary m. Rev. John
Fordham. WILLIAM, Branford 1667, mariner, in 1673 was cornet of
the New Haven troop, had w. Elizabeth but d. 1701, and left descend.

    MANCHESTER, STEPHEN, Portsmouth, R. I. m. 13 Sept. 1684, Elizabeth d.
of Gershom Wodell.

    MANLY, RALPH, Charlestown, prob. came in the fleet with Winthrop
and d. Sept. 1630. WILLIAM, Weymouth, by w. Rebecca had Sarah, b.
5 Oct. 1675; in Mar. foll. was soldier in Turner's comp. outliv. the
camp, and had Thomas, 11 July 1680; and by w. Sarah had Rebecca, 6
Mar. 1687; perhaps he rem. to Boston, and was freem. of 1690.

    MANN, ABRAHAM, Providence 1676, was one of the few that did not
rem. in Philip's war. He took o. of alleg. May 1671. FRANCIS,
Providence, of wh. I can only learn, that his d. Mary m. 6 Apr. 1673,
John Lapham. JAMES, Newport, freem. 1663. JOHN, Boston 1670, a
baker, by w. Mary had Joseph, b. 30 June 1672. JOSIAH, a soldier
prob. from Boston or Charlestown, under capt. Turner, 1676, at Hadley.
