Thursday, 25 Dec. 1690. JOHN, Boston, perhaps s. of the preced. by
w. Sarah had John, b. 17 Sept. 1678; Robert, 12 Dec. 1679; James,
12 Oct. 1680; and, perhaps, others; took for sec. w. Mary, wid. of John
Clark, d. of Joshua Atnater; d. 29 Aug. 1722. His wid. d. 12 Apr.
1726. Oft. the name has doub. n, and sometimes in rec. is Cunney.

    CONIGRAVE, WALTER, Warwick, was on the freem.'s list 1605, and
soon aft. at Newport; but no more can be heard of him, exc. that he
was capt. 1661; and so strange a name would be obs. if perpet. in any
rec. as it is when made worse in Col. Rec. R. I., I. 455, where it is
distort. to Cemigrave.

    CONLEY or CONNELLY, ABRAHAM, Kiterrae 1640, took the o. of fidel.
1632, constable 1647-59; by Sullivan, 343, writ. Cunley.

    CONNEBALL, JOHN, Boston, a soldier of Turner's comp. in the Falls
fight, Mar. 1676
, was of O. S. Ch. and freem. 1690, d. 10 Apr. 1724,
aged 75. His s. Samuel had his sh. of ld. in Bernardston, gr. 1736 for
those in that bloody field. The name now is Cunnable.

    CONNER, CORNELIUS, Exeter, quite early; rem. to Salisbury, there,
by w. Sarah had Sarah, b. 23 Aug. 1659; John, 8 Dec. 1660; Samuel,
12 Feb. 1662; Marg 27 Dec. 1663; Elizabeth 26 Feb. 1665; Rebecca, 10
Apr. 1668; Ruth, 16 May ]670; Jeremiah, 6 Nov. 1672; a d. prob.
Ursula, in rec. Husly, 10 Aug. 1673; Cornelius, 12 Aug. 1675; and
Dorothy, 1 Nov. 1676. Ruth m. 1687, Thomas Clough of S. as his
sec. w. JEREMIAH, Exeter, s. of the preced. m. 3 July 1696, Ann, d.
of Edward Gove. JOHN, Salisbury, br. of the preced. by w. Elizabeth had
Joseph, b. 1 Sept. 1691; Cornelius, 25 July 1693; Dorothy, 25 May
1696; and George, 16 Oct. 1699. WILLIAM, Plymouth, came in the
Fortune 1621, but d. or more prob. rem. bef. 1627, as he has no pt. of
div. of cattle.

    CONNOWAY, JEREMIAH, Charlestown 1678, m. 3 Apr. 1671 Ann,
Wilson, wh. d. 21 July 1692, aged 58.

    CONSTABLE, THOMAS, Boston, d. a. 1650, and his wid. Ann m. Philip
Long, wh. came from Ipswich. At New Haven 1643 was a Mrs. C.

    CONVERS or CONVERSE, ALLEN, Woburn, freem. 1644, wh. Felt
says, had gr. of Id. at Salem 1639, had Zechary, b. 11 Oct. 1642; Elizabeth
7 Mar. 1645, d. young; Sarah, 11 July 1647; Joseph, 31 May 1649;
Mary, 26 Sept. 1651, d. soon; Theophilus, 21 Sept. 1652, d. soon;
Samuel, 20 Sept. 1653; Mary, again, 26 Nov. 1655; Hannah, 13 Mar.
1660. He a. 19 Apr. 1679, and his w. d. three days aft. prob. of smallpox.
In his will, five days bef. he rememb. the young ch. of his d. Hannah
Pierce. EDWARD, Charlestown, came in the fleet with Winthrop 1630,
with w. Sarah, and childr. req. 19 Oct. to be, and, 18 May foll. was adm.
freem. They were dism. from our ch. to be among first of that in C.
