1688. He liv. in that part of Dedham wh. was early made Medfield,
and later cut into Sherborn. GEORGE, Watertown, freem. 2 June 1641
whose w. Margaret d. Feb. 1640; and he m. Beatrice Hall of Boston,
had Mary, b. 12 Feb. 1640; Jacob, 6 Apr. 1642; and prob. Sarah;
Jonathan, 12 July 1647; and perhaps Joanna. He had ano. w. (I presume
the third), 20 apr. 1655, Mary Marplehead, says Dr. Bond, tho.
Morse confines him to one w. A fourth w. he found, 2 May 1672, in
Jane Else, wid of Roger. ISAAC, Dedham, s. of the first William
b. in Eng. m. 11 Apr. 1655. Ann, wid. of John Wight, had Hannah, b.
24 Feb. 1656; Sarah, 7 Jan. 1658; Samuel, 22 Dec. 1659; Judith or
Judah, 10 May 1662; Ephraim 20 July 1664, d. in few days; Ann, 17
Apr. 1666; John, 26 June 1668, d. in few days; Mary, 29 May 1669;
and William, 19 May 1673; and d. 1676. Ano. ISAAC is sometimes
suppos. to have been at Watertown bef. 1636, on of the seven or eight
mythical brs. but, if any thing more than shadow, he early d. or went
home; and of ano. ISAAC, presum. s. of John, the notice is too slight to
found upon. JOHN, Dedham 1638, perhaps eldest s. of the first William,
but Morse thinks him. br. of William, freem. 13 May 1640, by w.
Magdalen had Abigail, b. 8 Oct. 1641; Joseph, 26 Apr. 1643; and
Hannah, 1 Oct. 1645, or, but ano. acco. 1 Feb. 1646. JONATHAN,
Watertown, s. of Benjamin, m. 9 Dec. 1669, Esther, d. of Joseph Morse,
had Esther, b. 13 Aug. 1671; Jonathan, 25 Dec. 1672; Hannah, 3 Feb.
1675; and perhaps Joseph. JOSEPH, Medfield 1678, s. of John, by w.
Sarah had Joseph, b. 12 Sept. 1665, d. soon; Sarah, 11 Nov. 1667;
Joseph, again, 28 Mar. 1670; Samuel, 15 Sept. 1672; Rachel, 15 Nov.
1674; Solomon, 13 July 1679, d. soon; Ebenezer; and Hannah. NATHANIEL,
Dedham, s. of William of the same, b. perhaps in Eng. m.
1658, Mary, d. of Edward Richards, had Mary, b. 24 Dec. 1659; Susanna,
19 Aug. 1661; Sarah, 31 July 1665; Judith, or Judah, 5 Aug.
1667; Martha, 6 Aug. 1670; and Nathaniel, the 3d wk. in Jan. 1680,
wh. d. next yr. and the f. was frem. 1690, and d. 1705. ROBERT,
Watertown, bur. 24 June 1639, was aged 40, and h. of Ann, but no
more of him was discov. by Bond. But he suppos. him to be br. of
Benjamin, George, Maudlin, and Ann. SAMUEL, Dedham, eldest s. of
Isaac of the same, m. 1683, Hannah, perhaps d. of James Thorpe, and
rem. to Dorchester. THOMAS, Northampton 1668. WILLIAM, Dedham
1636, freem. 13 May 1640, had Isaac, Nathaniel, Elizabeth wh. m. Moses
Collier of Woodbridge, N. J. and Mary, wh. m. 1650, John Farrington
of D. Perhaps some of these were b. in Eng. and he may have had
more. By sec. w. Mary, wid of Francis Griswold of Charlestown,
where he resid. 1658-77, he had none; and he d. early in 1687, in D.
at the ho. of his d. the wid. Farrington. In his will, of 5 July 1679,
importing that he was then 85 yrs. old, he names the two ds. and two s.
