- The Heeres family (now named Harris) also published a family memoir. There is also an anniversary book of the Christian Reformed Church in Winnipeg which references this group of people.
- There are other books which referenced these forerunners. The Windmill Archive collection holds many titles on the settlement of the Dutch in Canada and the USA. We maintain contact with the De Vries, De Jong and Heeres descendants.--henk 18:22, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
