Rename? [15 December 2010]

I think the official name should be
Regionaal Historisch Centrum. Groninger Archieven
www.allegroningers.nl is just the link to search the database. But the real sources are in the RHC. This might differ from Tresoar, but there the name of the Archives is identical with the name of the Website.--Klaas (Ekjansen) 01:49, 15 December 2010 (EST)

WR has a Repository page for Repository:Regionaal Historisch Centrum - Groninger Archieven. The real sources, as you say, are the Burgerlijke Stand which is housed at the RHC. However, this page has been used in citations in a manner similar to people using Source:Ancestry.com. I think users may just recreate the page in the future thinking their source is AG because that's what the website says... I'll edit the page with a few ideas, and you can let me know your thoughts.

I think I may have made an error in my creation and use of Repository:AlleGroningers. I've been using this for the Source:Aduard, Groningen, Netherlands. Burgerlijke Stand pages. Perhaps I should have used Repository:Regionaal Historisch Centrum - Groninger Archieven instead? --Jennifer (JBS66) 06:35, 15 December 2010 (EST)

Yes I think that's what made me a bit mixed up. The repository (I am still not sure what this really means, could be depot in Dutch) should be the RHC.--Klaas (Ekjansen) 06:48, 15 December 2010 (EST)
I added a note to this page explaining that, ideally, the source should be the Burgerlijke Stand from the gemeente. I will change my use of the AlleGroningers repository, and delete that page. Thank you for the feedback!
Is bewaarplaats the word for repository, possibly? It is the overarching location where many sources are housed, like the RHC (where the register books are the sources) or a library (where the books are sources). --Jennifer (JBS66) 07:12, 15 December 2010 (EST)
Well, yes now I understand. --Klaas (Ekjansen) 07:17, 15 December 2010 (EST)
