René Ravenel immigrated from France via Holland and England to South Carolina in the late 1600s or early 1700s.

1964-1973 Supplements

Between 1964 and 1973, William Jervey Ravenel (1901 - ) published four supplements to the original 1898 publication. They are entitled Ravenel records, A-[D supplement[s]] and consist of:

  1. A, ii, 10p
  2. B, ii, 18p
  3. C, 8p
  4. D, 15p with 7 folded leaves of plates for all 4

1971 reprint

In 1971, Norman S Berg published a reprint of the original. Includes indexes.
