George Stanley (d.ca.1784) immigrated from England to Georgetown, South Carolina in the earlier 1700s. Lewis Stanley, his son, was born thereabout 1750. George served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Washington and elsewhere. Includes some family history and genealogical data about the Stanley family in England to 1066 A.D.
