John Greene immigrated during or before 1639 to Wickford, Rhode Island. "A tradition exists...that he came hither from England and had formerly borne the name of Clarke...". He moved to Narragansett, Rhode Island and died between 1692 and 1696. Includes Burdick, Coon, Crandall, Maxson, Potter and related families.
