Usage Tips

William Dawes (ca.1620-1703/1704) immigrated in 1635 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, moving to Braintree, Massachusetts in 1640. He married Susanna Mills in 1641, and in 1650/1651 moved back to Boston. George Gates (ca.1634-1724) immigrated from England to Hartford, Connecticut, where he married Sarah Olmstead about 1660. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Illinois and elsewhere. Traces many lineages back to the immigrant ancestor, and some ancestry in England as well.
