Description

This work presents pedigrees of the landed gentry (members of the aristocracy without nobility). The pedigrees provide the names of family members and sometimes include vital dates as well.

The work contains three volumes, so be sure to include the volume and page number when citing:

  • Vol. I - Names from A to L.
  • Vol. II - Names from M to Z.
  • Vol. III - Supplementary alphabet of names, comprising about 600 additional families, with addenda and corrigenda, and a general index, containing all the names mentioned in the work (upwards of 100,000).
