1907 Census

The 1907 census established a record of Confederate soldiers who resided in Alabama. The census was arranged by county. The records contain:

1921 Census

The 1921 census was to prepare a permanent pension roll or record of any soldier who fought for Alabama or the Confederate States of America. The soldiers or wives of deceased soldiers who did not own property worth more than $5,000 and did not earn more than $1,200 per year were to be added to the pension roll.
