Peter Acker, Sr. (ca.1730-ca.1815) immigrated from Germany to Hunterdon County, New Jersey about 1750, and married Jane Sutherland, moving to Fairfield County, South Carolina, and in 1790 to the Pendleton district of South Carolina. Descendants and relatives (arranged in alphabetical order by surname, then by given name) lived in New Jersey, South Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, Illinois, California and and elsewhere.
