Duplication of townships in Waterloo County [4 October 2012]

The townships of Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and North Dumfries (4 out of the 5 townships of the county) were all duplicated with each also having the description of "town".

In expanding the descriptions of places I have always worked on the townships first and followed up with the lesser communities listed as inhabited and unknown places.

Discovering and removing the duplicates, which involved copying the new material into the places without the extra word "(township)" in their description was a job that had to be done slowly and cautiously. --goldenoldie 04:17, 4 October 2012 (EDT)
