I propose that the original name shall be Sinderen, not Sinderhoek.

- Is Aardrijkskundig Woordenboek saying Sinderhoek is an alternate name, or that they're two different places?
- "Sinderen 1° buurt onder Wisch; daarbij Sinderhoek...."
- If it's the former, I agree that we should make "Sinderen" the primary name.
- When it lists the constituents of Wisch, it only names Sinderen (pop. 1100), not Sinderhoek/Zinderhoek.

- i think the buurschap is Sinderhoek and the place is Sinderen

- I'd be willing to go with that as the solution: the dorp is Sinderen and there is a buurtschap Sinderhoek. - When i search for ?inderen in geldersarchief.nl, i find date ranges 1811 thru 1950
- So when 1900 is the basis for Places, there is no place Sinderhoek or Zinderhoek in geldersarchief.nl

- Since it's not a part of the hierarchy, just a "leaf node", that's allowed under the "1900 Rule" to prevent loss of information. I added a comment to the place page that it was last mentioned in the civil registry in 1886. That is very useful information. --pkeegstra 11:57, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
