Place:Winton Rural, Hampshire, England

Winton Rural District was a short-lived single-parish rural district in Hampshire, England. In 1901 it was absorbed into the town of Bournemouth which since 1974 is in Dorset.

NOTE: Winton is not well-documented in either Wikipedia or A Vision of Britain through Time. Its transferrance to Bournemouth was discovered on an Ordnance Survey map of Hampshire of 1900.
