Weston or Weston Village has been since 2009 a settlement in the Halton unitary authority of Cheshire, England. Formerly a separate village, it is now part of the town of Runcorn. Weston overlooks the River Mersey and a large chemical plant.

Weston ceased to be a civil parish when it was absorbed into Runcorn in 1936.

Weston Point or Weston-Point (redirected here) is the location of the Port of Runcorn--a long historical article in Wikipedia.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of West Chelborough from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"WESTON, a township, with a village, in Runcorn parish, Cheshire; at the influx of the river Weaver to the Mersey, 2 miles SSW of Runcorn. It includes Weston Point chapelry; and it has a church, a Wesleyan chapel, a national school, extensive freestone quarries, extensive chemical works, spacious wet docks, and a branch mineral railway to Runcorn. Acres: 1,282; of which 415 are water. Real property: £4,637. Population: 965. Houses: 162. The manor belongs to Major G. Orred; and W. House is the seat of T. W. Bankes, Esq."
