Data from A Vision of Britain through Time West Phillack was part of the Redruth Poor Law Union and Registration District in Cornwall, England. It was created from part of Phillack Civil Parish in 1894 and became a separate civil parish within Hayle Urban District. In 1934 Hayle Urban District was abolished and West Phillack was transferred to the West Penwith Rural District as was Hayle Civil Parish. In 1938 West Phillack was absorbed into Hayle Civil Parish.
