A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Webtree Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "WEBTREE, a hundred in the SW of Hereford[shire]; containing 28 parishes. Acres: 58,867. Population in 1851: 9,032; in 1861: 8,944. Houses: 1,897."
If the original map on which this sketch is based is blown up to a much higher magnification, you will find it includes many places in Herefordshire discussed on these pages. The rivers and ranges of hills are also shown.
