Virginstow is a village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon in England, about 7 miles north of Launceston in Cornwall. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 115.

Virginstow was, from 1894 until 1966, part of Broadwoodwidger Rural District. The boundaries of the rural district were realigned and three of the six parishes were transferred to Cornwall. The remaining parishes were absorbed into Holsworthy Rural District. In 1974 the whole of Holsworthy Rural District became part of the Torridge District.
