Mottville Township is a civil township of St. Joseph County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,499 at the 2000 census. US 12 runs through the township, and M-103 connects it with the Indiana state line.

In the traditional township numbering for the State of Michigan, Mottville Township is T 8 S, R 12 W, substantially truncated on the south by the Indiana state border, but with some additions from T 8 S, R 13 W as the county line with Cass County follows the St. Joseph River.
