Middlesbrough Rural District was an administrative division of the North Riding of Yorkshire surrounding the town of Middlesbrough. It existed from 1894 unti 1932 when it was abolished and the civil parishes were distributed between Middlesbrough (by then a county borough) and Stokesley Rural District.
