Lidsing is a hamlet near the M2 motorway, in the Maidstone District, in the English county of Kent. It is south of the town of Gillingham.

A nineteenth century description

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Lidsing from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"LIDSING, or LIDGEN, a ville in Medway [registration] district, Kent; 3¼ miles SE of Chatham. Acres: 439; of which 40 are water. Population: 30. Houses: 5. The ville forms a chapelry, annexed to the vicarage of Gillingliam, in the diocese of Rochester."
