English Bicknor is a village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean District of west Gloucestershire, England. According to the UK Census of 2001 the population was then 406. The village is close to the county border with Herefordshire and also with the border with Wales. On the opposite side of the border with Herefordshire is the village of Welsh Bicknor, the border being the River Wye. (Welsh Bicknor used to be in Wales until the border was redrawn.)
