East Hampshire District is a local government district in Hampshire, England. Its council is based in Petersfield. Other towns are Alton and Bordon.

The East Hampshire District Council took over administration of that part of Hampshire on 1 April 1974. The former administrations were Alton Urban District, Petersfield Urban District, Alton Rural District, and Petersfield Rural District.
