Collins is an inhabited place. It is an unincorporated community located on David Highway in Portland Township, Ionia County, Michigan at the point where it is crossed by Lyons Rd and the now defunct Pere Marquette Railroad line from Grand Ledge to Ionia, on which it had a station.
