Bishopstoke, a village recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086, is a civil parish in the Eastleigh District or Borough of Eastleigh in Hampshire. The village is about a mile east of Eastleigh town centre, and is on the eastern bank of the River Itchen. It adjoins Fair Oak (in what is now the Fair Oak and Horton Heath parish) on the east.
After being part of Winchester Rural District from 1894 until 1932, the village was annexed to Eastleigh, and was split out again later into an independent civil parish which is now part of Eastleigh District. It forms part of the Southampton Urban Area and has a 21st century population of close to 10,000.
Bishopstoke includes a sizeable proportion of the Itchen Valley Navigation which ran between Winchester and Southampton. The canal was completed in 1710 and used until 1869.
