Alrewas (awl-ree-was) is a large village and civil parish which has been located within Lichfield District, in Staffordshire, England since 1974. Previously it was part of Lichfield Rural District. The village is located on the A38 road, approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) north of Lichfield. It has a population of about 3,000 according to an estimate of 2007.

Alrewas lies at the confluence of the Trent and Mersey Canal and the River Trent and is located on the A38 road.
